Addressing the Challenge and Constraints of Insulin Sources and Supply \u2013 ACCISS Phase 3<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Despite the discovery of insulin more than 100 years ago, nowadays, there is still a large gap to cover in its access, knowledge and acceptance by patients and health professionals. Since 2018, the ACCISS project in Peru has been working in topics related to the access to insulin in our country. To date, two phases of this project have already concluded [Phase 1<\/strong> (Surveying insulin prices, availability and affordability in Peru<\/strong><\/a> and Evaluation of the response of the health system to the access to insulin for people with Diabetes Mellitus type 1<\/strong><\/a>) and Phase 2<\/strong><\/a>]<\/p>\n

giving rise to this third phase where different components are being worked on in order to achieve the general objective of the project.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
