In Peru, very little is known about indigenous women in higher education. On the other hand, in recent years, although there is debate about the low presence of women in STEM careers, these debates do not include or problematize the situation of indigenous women. The analyzes on this topic do not contemplate the specific barriers that indigenous women face in training in these disciplines. In this context, debating the situation of Amazonian indigenous women in STEM careers, in a country like Peru, which enjoys great cultural and linguistic diversity, is essential as there is little information in this regard.<\/p>\n
